The second DLC for Transformers: War for Cybertron will roll out today, including five new multiplayer maps and will hold the addition of two new playable characters in multiplayer – Zeta Prime and Dead End.
Activision released this DLC with almost no warning, which catches us by surprise.
While lowering the new character count by half compared to the last DLC, this new pack gives us an additional five new multiplayer maps, including two new escalation maps – Pulse for the Autobots and Static for the Decepticons. In Pulse players will engage in taking on increasingly more challenging waves of enemies while travwersing through the giant inner workings of the giant Decepticon Trypticon, while Static allows for the villains to have a chance to lure Autobots to their demise within a multi-level series of rooms set with environmental traps.
The other three maps which come within the package are the beautifully landscaped Horizon, the vehicle-ready Sector, and a high rise map called Metropolis.
Zeta prime is ready to join the front for the Autobots, and Dead End makes his debut for the Decepticons in multiplayer, each with their own unique set of abilities.
The new DLC will be available for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and for $9.99 on the Playstation Network.
