Fallout: New Vegas – First DLC Xbox 360 “Exclusive”

Bethesda has announced that Fallout: New Vegas will, in fact, be supported by post-launch DLC. However, just like with Fallout 3, the initial DLC that releases for the game will be “exclusive” to the Xbox Live when it releases this holiday season. There are apparently no plans to move the DLc to the Playstation Network or to the PC even, but we must stay positive. We know, as with a lot of other “exclusive” Xbox Live content, it doesn’t always stay “exclusive” for too long. The odds are that the New Vegas DLC will eventually port over to the PSN and PC.

A representative from Bethesda, Pete Hines, commented with, “We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox Live. Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game.”

The company will be announcing more details on the game, and its DLC, in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
