Fans Are Wanted To Take Part In Mega Man Legends 3

During the New York Comic Convention, Keiji Inafune reminded the audience that it has been ten years since the last game in the Mega Man Legends series. He then went on to show the trailer for the upcoming Mega Man Legends 3 Project that is going to appear on the Nintendo 3DS.

Inafune continued to explain that the new “project” would be one of a collaboration. The fans and community will be able to participate in the development stages of the game. The Capcom-Unity website will receive an update which will include a Dev Room, in which fans will be able to submit all of their gameplay ideas, character ideas, boss ideas, level plans, and much more. In the near future fans will be able to “voice” their desire for a position in the game’s voice cast.

Capcom is rolling out the first challenge with the game, wherein fans will choose the next heroine in the series. A handful of nine artists, along with Inafune himself, have gotten designs together for the choosing. Head on over to the Dev Room at the Capcom-Unity website for more updates and to participate yourself. Enjoy the first video from the Dev Room below.
