Players Can Bring Their World Into Dragon Age 2

It looks like players will be able to import their saves into the new fantasy RPG from BioWare, Dragon Age 2, like they could in Mass Effect 2, but there will be some minor tweaks to the process. Since you don’t have a stalwart character this time around, it has been a bit hazy as to what actually will transfer to the new game.

Well some of the fog has been lifted as BioWare’s Lead Designer Mike Maidlaw informed us earlier this week. He explains that the “world” that players create in Dragon Age: Origins will be imported into the new game. “Who’s in charge of Ferelden, what happened with the Dwarves, who’s running Orzammar?” Laidlaw said. “All of these things are reflected and accounted for in Dragon Age 2.”

Basically, however you left your world in Dragon Age: Origins will be reflected in the world of Dragon Age 2. Don’t worry though, there is still time to get back in a fix up the place.
