Unlock Aerith In The Full Game By Playing The Dissidia Duodecim Demo

The masterminds over at Square Enix have just announced an intuitive promotional initiative for the upcoming PSP fighter, Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy. Japanese PSP owners will be able to buy and download a playable demo of the game for 300 Yen (about $3.64). The short demo will not feature Aerith, but it will unlock her as a support character in the full game, which means she is not fully controllable.

Square has also announced two new characters joining the battle in the new PSP title. Gilgamesh from Final Fantasy V and Prishe from Final Fantasy IX will be taking up ranks in Duodecim.

The game is still set to release during the first quarter of this year.
