Bayonetta Figurines Are Never Cheap, Are They?

Now I know that there is a lot of work that goes into creating, painting, and finishing authentic video game figurines, but the skill and time put into the figurine will cost you. A lot.

A while back I posted about another Bayonetta figurine that was running up quite a tab, and this one blows the previous out of the water.

This past weekend at the Wonder Festival, which is a collectible figurine showcase in Japan, Kyoto’s own “Mr. Big” displayed his hand-painted figurines, including this garage kit of Bayonetta herself. Mr. Big specializes in these kits, and this one you see took over two months to complete.

The completed Bayonetta kit is running for about ¥180,000 (roughly about $2200). The figurine comes with a nice little stand, and a pair of glasses, built on a 1/1 scale.

This kind of skill comes at a price.
