Zelda Skyward Sword To Be Released After Ocarina Of Time On 3DS

According to Nintendo’s third quarter financial report, Link’s appearance in Skyward Sword will come shortly after his role in the re-release of Ocarina of Time for the 3DS. Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata stated in the report, “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been in the process of being remade for Nintendo 3DS, and this Nintendo 3DS version is expected to hit the market earlier [than Skyward Sword].”

This puts Skyward Sword releasing sometime after Ocarina of Time, which releases in June. The financial report also states that Miyamoto’s team is now entering the final completion stages of the new Wii game. We expect more news on this at E3 later this year.
