Crysis 2 PC Update Fixes Most Issues

There still exist some errors with Crysis 2 PC players trying to activate their game online, but Crytek still send an update this past week that fixed a few other irritating bugs. The fixes include counter measures to block cheaters, and matchmaking snags.

Here’s the full list of fixes so far:

  • Server Browser shows incorrect pings – Fixed
  • Some matches never initiate – Fixed
  • Faster text chat – As speedy as can be
  • Console re-enabled – Console has been re-activated
  • Cheat detection – Now in place to ensure all users are on a level playing field
  • Fix USB headset issues – Current issues have been addressed and fixed
  • Fix hologram icon staying on screen after being used – Fixed
  • Remove Auto Aim – This has now been completely removed due to overwhelming community feedback

Perhaps the biggest change is the removal of auto-aim. The community really spoke out about this and Crytek delivered. What do you think? Is the auto-aim being removed issue better this way?
