Microsoft Brings Dead Gamertags Back To Life

Did you have a great idea for your first Xbox Live Gamertag just to find out it was already taken? Don’t worry, it happened to me too. Now, however you can possibly regain the chance to have that super sweet Gamertag that you’ve always wanted.

Microsoft has just announced that they are reanimating the dead – Gamertags that is. Major Nelson reports that old, dead Gamertags are being reactivated by Microsoft, giving players the chance to get them while they can.

Over the coming weeks, I urge you to at least check to see if that sweet Gamertage has been reactivated or not. If you come to find that it has been, you can change your current Gamertag over for 800 MS Points.
