See How Your Black Ops Loadout Compares To The Pros

If you’re hardcore when it comes to playing Call of Duty: Black Ops competitively, then you know that your loadout selection can make or break you. Choosing the correct perks, weapons, and equipment is essential in giving you the edge when it comes to racking up the death toll. When it comes to the game’s multiplayer there is a huge learning curve that can either put you on the fast track to the top of the leaderboards, or make you want to throw the game out the window.

If you’re curious about which loadouts are the best to work with like I was, then here’s some great information straight from the pros. So take a second to look, put that AK74u down, and check out the top loadouts hitting the boards today.

The AK74u was definitely the “n00b” weapon of choice when the game first appeared, but since then Treyarch has “nerfed”, or dumbed down, the gun to make it less powerful than before. Replacing the submachine gun now is the Famas – a versatile assault rifle with a high fire rate. The Famas is a great choice because it allows players to take control of the game at close, medium, and even long range. The gun is capable of firing 937.5 which makes it a very lethal weapon. The top five highest-ranked Black Ops players in the world all agree that this loadout, or variations of it, work the best for them, and I can attest to it.

Everyone was telling me to use the AK74u with the grip, and run the map. I tried the loadout numerous times and it never seemed to work for me. I then switched to the Famas and my kill-death ratio changed almost immediately. My loadout runs as such:

Famas with Suppressor and Red Dot Sight

CZ75 Handgun for secondary with upgraded sights

Semtex Lethal Grenade with Flash Tactical

Claymore for Equipment

Ghost, Warlord Pro, and Marathon for perks

This loadout has worked great for me, and the pros seem to agree with this variation. Hopefully, using this, you players out there can overcome those sad matches and make your way to the top.
