The Prologue Chapter For Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy Coming To The PSN
Great news, Final Fantasy fans. Dissidia Duodecim Prologus will be available on the PlayStation Network starting March 15th. It is the prologue chapter to the Dissidia Duodecim game, in which Final Fantasy characters battle it out in a fighting-style action game.
Through the prologue chapter players will get a preview of Lightning’s adventures and be able to see her outside of the Final Fantasy XIII world for the first time. The prologue game will have a story mode, but it will also include quick battles through an arcade mode. Players will also be able to bring items from the prologue chapter over into Dissidia Duodecim when it releases on March 22nd.
Additionally, the purchase of Dissidia Duodecim Prologues unlocks the special character, Aerith Gainsborough, as an Assist Character.
Here’s a bit about the prologue chapter:
- Witness Lightning before the storm: Lightning, the protagonist of the popular FINAL FANTASY XIII, will be introduced to the DISSIDIA series for the first time. Players can enjoy a taste of the latest installment through a unique scenario featuring Lightning that will recount the events leading to DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
- Carry-over items from DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY to DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY: Players can continue their journey and have the advantage of carrying over in-game items acquired in DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY for use in DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
- Unlock a new character: By purchasing DISSIDIA duodecim prologus FINAL FANTASY, players will also receive the immensely popular Aerith Gainsborough from FINAL FANTASY VII as an Assist Character in DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY.
