After Eight Years, The Streets of Rage Remake Is Complete
Eight years in the making, the Streets of Rage Remake game has finally been released in its entirety – best of all, it’s free.
Streets of Rage remake pays homage to one of the best beat-em-ups to ever grace the Sega Genesis, Game Gear, and Master System. The remake includes 19 playable characters from multiple Streets of Rage games, 64 types of enemies, 83 remixes of classic techno beats, and 103 stages to play through. In short, the remake is awesome.
The Streets of Rage Remake game got started way back in March of 2003, according to its creators. You can get your very own download of the game here in the Bombergames forums, which I highly recommend you do. You could even make a sweet donation there to the game’s cause.
