
The 1.4 beta update for Minecraft just rolled out, but Notch is hard at work already on the next one. Update 1.5 will have weather effects like snow and rainfall, which could have gameplay implications such as filling holes with water, watering crops, and putting out fires.
The image above is an example that Notch uploaded showing the weather effects being friendly at the border of two different biomes. If you’re not excited by now, you may want to check your pulse.
No date on the update’s release has been detailed, but we assume it won’t be too long judging by Notch’s excitement.
