Diablo III Beta Coming This Fall

During a press call from Activision Blizzard, President Mike Morhaime decided to let out some information on the upcoming Diablo III game. According to Morhaime, external beta testing for Diablo III will start during the third quarter of this year. He didn’t specify whether it would be open or closed.

The company hasn’t set on a specific release date yet. I assume we could be seeing it towards December, possibly earlier. This all depends on how the devs at Blizzard are feeling with the game.

Also, no word has been given on what we will get to see with the beta. We don’t yet know if we will get to see some PVP action, or whether we get to see some single-player campaign. Either way, as soon as more word surfaces, we will let everyone know.
