If you just so happen to be a fan of Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, and pretty ladies, you may want to go to Chicago. There’s going to be burlesque that will be all kinds of hilarious, and right up your alley.
The Gorilla Tango Theater has already shown us a hit with the Boobs Goombas burlesque that they put on in fall of last year. That show is STILL running Friday and Saturday nights this month. If you’re not sure about going to Chicago, I can tell you it’s worth the trip, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve thought up next.
This latest show sounds like its basically going to roll up everything you love about dragons, quests, wizards, and adventure, and put it into one big burrito of awesome. Of course, it will be 18+ as it is a burlesque, but if you’re up for a night of comedy, this is going to be the place to be. You don’t have to be a die-hard nerd to enjoy this, but they will be putting in some deep references. Tickets are likely already on sale, and the show will be running June 2nd-August 25th. If you’re considering going, get these in advance because they disappear quickly.
