Respawn Brings Renowned Star Wars Artist Aboard For New Title

Respawn Entertainment, the company created by Vince Zampella and Jason West after they left Activision, has just brought aboard some star talent to assist with artwork for the company’s new title, whatever it will be. Iain McCraig is now part of the Respawn contributor list, and he’s best known for his work with the Star Wars films, particularly the first three (in the series). He helped design Queen Amidala, Darth Maul, and more.

Though McCraig is now hard at work on the new game, no one has released so much as a shred of information on what the title is, or will be. McCraig did state, however that, “Whether it’s military games or things set in space, it doesn’t matter, my huge burning passion is in designing people.”

With our hopes high, we wait in anticipation for any information on what Respawn is cooking up. With McCraig on the team, who knows what masterpiece could be lying in wait? I would like to hope that the company comes up with something completely off the grid with their first title, and I think McCraig can help achieve that. What do you think?
