Still No New Deadline for PSN (To Be Back Online)

The announced deadline has passed for Playstation Network to be back online, but still no connection can be seen. According to their spokesman, “We’re working hard, doing everything we can to get the services restored as soon as possible.” No new date for a re-launch has been announced.

The company had announced that they were to be getting things back online last Sunday, the 8th of May, and be back to full functioning normalcy by the 31st. But for some reason, nothing has been done as of now and no new dates are being announced.

Despite not having their network back up, Sony has been a good sport to their waiting fans. They’ve offered free identity theft protection services and continued to try to keep the patrons updated as to what’s going on with the network. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more change soon, rather than empty handed promises.
