Atlus Announces The King of Fighters XIII [E3 2011]

One of the biggest titles in the fighter genre returns later this year with Atlus’ The King of Fighters XIII. The new title will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and is scheduled to release this holiday season.

The King of Fighters XIII represents the HD entry in the series that many fans have been waiting for. In the new title fights play faster, there’s been an addition of over a half dozen new play modes, it’s rendered in very colorful graphics, and introduces brand new NEOMAX super moves.

After seeing the screens of the new game, I am actually excited to get back into fighters. The King of Fighters franchise has always offered competitive play, and fast-paced fighting at its greatest. Look for the game when it hits shelves later this year.
