Minecraft may have taken the world by storm, but LEGOs will always be there to remind us of the good ole days. It may seem a bit boring now, but back then, we had to use real blocks to create fake realities. Although, the LEGO blocks were much less realistic than those in Minecraft…I feel that we may have just entered some sort of Inception experience…
Since those old days of yore, LEGO expanded in the real world, and has since created their own LEGO Universe, an MMO which they have decided to graciously share with us for free. Obviously there are paid memberships as well that are $10, since they still want to make money off of it.
The game is also not going to be available on a disc any longer. It will only be available via digital download. You can play for free as long as you’d like, and don’t have to worry about micro purchases getting in your way. You will be able to start playing for free when August hits, but if you want the full benefits of the game, you can become a paid member and start now.
