Metal Gear Solid: Rising Isn’t Making E3

All of you Metal Gear fans out there who hoped to see some Metal Gear Solid: Rising action at E3 are about to be disappointed. Konami announced at their pre-E3 event that the game will not make it to the show floor.

Hideo Kojima stated that the game is still slated for its 2012 release, but didn’t give any specific reason as to why the game won’t be shown. The only thing we can think of is that the game still needs some polishing, or Kojima is hiding something up his sleeve.

This news bums me out a bit, mostly because I am a huge Metal Gear fan. But if you know anything about Hideo Kojima, then you can expect the man to keep some secrets. He likes to announce things with a bang, so when we do get to see more of Rising, I am sure it will be well worth the wait.
