Nintendo Announces A Handful Of New 3DS Titles [E3 2011]

During Nintendo’s E3 2011 Press Conference they announced a few new titles that will be making their way to the 3DS. These are titles that bring back the days of old, all while providing a new gameplay experience for us all. Here is a breakdown of the newly revealed titles:

  • Super Mario – Holiday Season
  • Luigi’s Mansion 2 – 2012
  • Mario Kart – Holiday Season
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising – Holiday Season
  • LStar Fox 64 3D – September 11,2011
  • Animal Crossing – No Release Date Yet
  • Paper Mario – No Release Date Yet

These are some great new titles that we can expect from Nintendo, and they’ve all got us excited. New features, Augmented Reality, and putting the games in 3D all make for an impressive way to enjoy your games.

On top of these announcements, Nintendo also revealed a new system update available for the 3DS which provides owners with free access to store items. Players can expect a new internet browser that displays 3D images on websites, a download of a remastered NES classic Excitebike, and Pokedex 3d, which allows players view over 150 Pokemon from Pokemon Black and White versions in real 3D.
