Ubisoft Announces New Tracks For Rocksmith

Ubisoft has just unveiled a handful of new tracks that will be part of their new rhythm title, Rocksmith. The game uses a real guitar to play songs in real time, much like the rhythm games in the past, only with a bit more complexity. Here’s a list of what Ubisoft is adding:

• The Cure – Boys Don’t Cry

• Nirvana – Breed
• Pixies – Where Is My Mind?
• Radiohead – High and Dry
• Red Fang – Number Thirteen
• The Rolling Stones – The Spider and the Fly
• Silversun Pickups – Panic Switch
• Soundgarden – Outshined
• Spoon – Me and The Bean
• Stone Temple Pilots – Vasoline
• Taddy Porter – Mean Bitch
• Titus Andronicus – A More Perfect Union
• White Denim – Burnished
• The White Stripes – Icky Thump
• Yellow Moon Band – Chimney

With gameplay that automatically adjusts to a player’s skill level, the game is sure to make it big among fans. It also features a USB connector that will allow players to connect their guitar to a PC, allowing the midi function to be recognized on any Windows-based system. Rocksmith announces later this year at $79.99.
