Black Prophecy Now Has A U.S. Launch Date

The space MMO shooter Black Prophecy is finally moving out of its beta stage, as it now has a U.S. release date. Players will be able to officially start playing this game on July 13th.

Black Prophecy was developed by Reakktor, and published through Gamigo. The game has been running in Europe for quite some time now, but it’s had problems with the servers which led to its release being delayed for many months. It’s great to know that the team at Reakktor has been able to attack the game’s bugs and make it available to fans here in the states, including myself.

For those who don’t know, Black Prophecy is a Free-To-Play MMO that’s set many years into the future. Humanity has evolved into two new races known as the Tyi and the Genides. The Genides chose to follow the path of genetic enhancements while the Tyi adopted a different way and became cyborgs. Both sides are locked in an epic battle for dominance across the galaxies, and it’s up to you to becoming a strong fighter for the side you choose. It’s a great game with an expansive quest system, unique interface, and beautiful scenery. You can find out more about the game on its official page.
