World of Warplanes On Its Way To The Skies

The developers over at Wargaming.net may have their hands busy with World of Tanks, but they’re not stopping with gaming on the ground. Now they plan on taking combat to the skies with World of Warplanes, the new MMO title planned to arrive from the company.

World of Warplanes will feature a global interaction with World of Tanks, which will begin with sharing Gold and Free Experience between the two games for players, who have registered accounts in both of them on a single email. This feature will allow Wargaming.net community to plan their expenses and leave exactly the amount of Gold and Free Experience they want on either of the games. Based purely on aircraft setting, World of Warplanes will allow players to build full-scale careers of virtual pilots offering machines of several key eras, staring from World War I period with “Biplanes” and up to jet fighter prototypes that led the way to modern air forces.

There’s no release date for the game as of right now, which means it’s still up in the air (pun intended). These details are news now, and as more arrive we will be sure to update. So, what do you think of World of Warplanes so far?
