Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Multiplayer Beta A PlayStation 3 Exclusive
Ubisoft has announced that a multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be coming, and it will be a PS3 exclusive.It will go live starting on September 3rd, and the only way to get in is to have a PlayStation 3 system.
From September 3rd to the 11th PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to play the beta as one of the nine playable characters: The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion, and journey across three maps: Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople with four playable modes: Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault.
There hasn’t been any word on when players on other systems will get to try their hand at the beta, so we’re waiting on word from Ubisoft. Throwing the beta as a PS3 exclusive will surely annoy some gamers, and I don’t see the developer doing this for long. For those PS3 players out there, you’re in luck. Everyone else, you just have to wait.
