Star Wars: The Old Republic Will Not Be Region Locked

Star Wars fans will have no worries when the game launches, as it will not be region locked according to BioWare. The company has got its fans in mind as they’re ensuring that gamers throughout the world will still have access to the game, and all of its content.

Of course there is still the matter of latency, which will have to be dealt with on the local level. A lot of gamers are discussing the issue, and trying to decide whether this was a good move or not. From my standpoint, a little latency is a small price to pay to be able to access the entire game.

What do you think? Will the latency be worth it to play the entirety of what The Old Republic has to offer? With the region lock, a lot of players would miss out. Should that be an issue?
