Fez Delayed Yet Again, This Time To 2012

Fez, the incredible 2D/3D perspective-altering title coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PC, has unfortunately been delayed again. According to the game creator Phil Fish’s Twitter account, the game will not be hitting the console until at least 2012.

The game of Fez tells the story of Gomez, a 2D character who enters a mysterious 3D world in order to help preserve balance in the existence he has come to know. Throughout his journey he will need to unlock the secrets of a newly-discovered world to protect those closest to him in his own. The game allows players to rotate the world in front of them back and forth to discover new paths to collect special objects and reach new places.

This news is disappointing, as Fez is one of the most anticipated games to be arriving on the market. Some still believe the game doesn’t even exist. I am sure this delay will only further speculation, but I know I’ll keep my hope alive. Will you?
