MineCon Attendees Will Receive Special Codes For Cobalt And Scrolls
Mojang is rolling the dice on those who plan to attend their first MineCon event in Las Vegas. They are making the big assumption that attendees are completely mad about their games. This is a bit of an arduous assumption, but one that seems to make sense. Based on this, the indie developer has announced that they will be giving away vouchers to download alpha code not only for Scrolls, but for Cobalt as well for those who make it to the event.
While I am all for getting free stuff, especially video games, I would definitely go about this a different way if I were a part of the studio. I would make the greatest scavenger hunt known to man, the prizes these elite pieces of gaming glory. Of course, this could usher in chaos and the world as we know it would potentially fall.
Still, this is great news to hear. Mojang is so thankful to their fans and followers that they are handing out vouchers for free copies of their games. What better way to show appreciation for their people? Will you be attending MineCon when it sets up shop?
