Minecraft’s ‘Adventure Update’ Will Hit Very Soon, Details

Tons of fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Minecraft’s “Adventure Update,” which will add NPC villagers, hunger meters, and even more creepy monsters into the phenomenal PC game. These are just some of the cool additions planned for the update, and we learned that this certain update will be coming to players very soon.

Earlier in the week Mojang’s Jens Bergensten posted on Twitter that this major update would be hitting PCs around September 8th. That, my friends, is just one day away. Just more recently, however, Bergensten noted on the social networking site that it may take a little longer than expected for the update to go live. “Looks grim to get a release out on the 8th. We need more testing, one day is not enough. And we never release on Fridays,” he wrote.

It is still possible that we will see the Adventure Update before the weekend, but our gut is telling us it will be more like early next week. Players everywhere have been anticipating this update, and it will huge news for the industry. You can check out the video below to see a preview of said update, and as soon as more releases on the matter we’ll update here.
