Dark Souls Hardcore Trailer Makes Dying A Little Bit Easier To Handle
I’ve been playing Dark Souls for almost a week now, and I can say that I am still not used to dying in this game. If any of you has ever played Demons Souls, or this title even, then you’ll know that dying is just something you’ll have to come to accept. After all, you face giant demons, sweltering dragons, and nightmarish creatures all right before your eyes in the fantastic world that FromSoftware has created.
Just recently we saw the All Saints Day trailer for the game, and it showed us just how difficult your journey would be if you picked up a copy. After setting eyes on that footage, I felt a lump in my throat and didn’t know whether to press on or to run screaming like a little schoolgirl. It seems that the developer isn’t finished showing off the game, even though it’s been out for over a week. Their newest trailer, entitled the “Hardcore Trailer” acknowledges the fact that death will meet you many times, but takes the hardships out of dying for us a little bit.
You can see the new trailer below, and watch it with admiration. It’s a great little story, and it gives us hope. I know that I’ll head back to the game with a new sense of determination and ambition this time around. The truth is that you’re going to die, over and over, but it doesn’t all have to be in vain, does it?
