Team Fortress 2 ‘Manniversary Update’ Adds New Features, Celebrating A Year

It’s been a full year since Valve set into motion the Team Fortress 2 Mann Co. Store. This store is an in-game shop where people can purchase weapons and hats, all at the expense of their real-life wallets. With this being the one year anniversary for the shop, Valve is in the perfect mood to celebrate, and that means the players are on the winning end of the stick.

The “Manniversary Update” has just gone live on Team Fortress 2, and it’s brought with it tons of new toys for fans. There are new hats and other items in the shop, load-out presets for each class, decals, a “try before you buy” option in the shop, and new slow-mo and shaky cam options for those who want to make movies. Also introduced is the Steam Workshop which is an improved item submission system for the game. Item-creators can submit, rate, and review Team Fortress 2 items all within this new feature.

There is also quite a big sale in the shop which will run until Monday. If you’re looking at getting back into some Team Fortress 2 action, or to try it out for the first time, now would be the chance to grab at it. With all these new additions in the update, the game is sure to raise to the top of multiplayer title choices once again.
