The Petition For Dark Souls On The PC Still Running, Will Namco Be On Board?
A group of gamers have gotten together and created an internet petition that will try to get Dark Souls ported over to the PC. Their petition has picked up some speed, and over 38,000 people have signed on. This many signatures has helped the petition make some ground, and Namco has even responded.
An administrator on Namco’s forums proposed that such a huge internet movement would surely incite enough demand to get his shop moving. In responding to this, the internet did its thing. Tons of gamers have posted on the admin’s forum profile, and many more are coming to sign the petition.
With this many people responding to the movement, could Namco really pull this off? Will they respond with any notion of giving these gamers what they want? If this petition passes through, it will be a big success in the entire gaming industry. Now, if only these gamers could abide by purchasing the game instead of showing intent to pirate it, then I am sure the company would be even more behind getting this going.
