The Old Republic Set To Launch In Four New Regions Next Month

If you live in North America or Europe, you’ve had the opportunity to take up a lightsaber or blaster in The Old Republic for nearly two months now. However, there are still some parts of the world that have yet to jump in. Well if you live in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong or Singapore, you’ll be happy to know that the game will be officially launching in your area very soon.

On March 1st, the game will be available in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. At this time Bioware will be turning on their Asia Pacific servers, which are dedicated to this new region.

What’s nice is that the company acknowledges the fact that some people have already imported the game and started playing on either the NA or EU servers. These people will be contacted in early March, so that they can transfer their characters and take advantage of the lower latency of local servers.
