BioShock Infinite Release Date Confirmed For October 16, 2012
2010 doesn’t seem all that far away, but when you think about how long it’s been since you’ve played a brand-spanking-new BioShock game, it feels like longer than two years. Thankfully, we’ve known for a while that a new game has been in the works, taking us out of Rapture and into the skies. But when will we get to play it? Irrational Games has announced that BioShock Infinite will be shipping this fall.
Specifically, October 16, 2012 is a day you should probably mark down in your calender. That is when the game should arrive on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Yes, the game will be released on all three consoles simultaneously like the last game. PS3 owners don’t have to worry about that same year-long wait that they experienced for the first title.
Other than the release date, we Irrational has not handed out any new information regarding the forthcoming title. However, we’re sure to get a good bit more news once E3 rolls around this summer. We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
