Sword Girls Online Game Enters Its Open Beta, Contest Announced

Sword Girls, a brand new collectible card game MMO from ChangYou, now has a live open beta. To mark the open beta’s launch, ChangYou is holding a contest called “Slash for Cash,” which is a Ladder Tournament for the game. It will run from April 12th to April 18th,  and players can win a share of the $10,000 total prize pool.

Sword Girls is the newest online collectible card game, and features themes of stunning anime design. The game features hundreds hundreds of uniquely drawn playable cards that can be collected through the card crafting system with new cards released periodically. Players can explore multiple tiers of dungeons and challenge other players to online duels in order to collect materials that can be used to craft brand new cards. The entire game is free-to-play, and can be played in your browser.

The announced tournament will be the first of four planned events that will take place for the game. Those who place in said tournaments will be able to pick up rare in-game rewards as well as cash. You can find out more about the game on it’s Facebook page, and get over to sign up for the beta!
