Bethesda Adding Voice Commands To Skyrim

If you’re one of the Dragonborn, and you’ve been wishing to do the shouts yourself, now is your chance! Bethesda Softworks announced that a free update is coming to the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim that will add over 200 voice commands for you to use with your Kinect!

The update will allow you to use all of your shouts just by, well, shouting, and you’ll also be able to give commands like follow and attack by speaking them to your teammates, as well as assign hotkeys for weapons and spell combos without having to use a window.

Developers have been getting into this kind of trend recently, and it’s no wonder why it wouldn’t come to a game that is as shout-heavy as Skyrim. This update almost makes me wish I had an Xbox 360 version of Skyrim, because there’s nothing I’d rather see than my shouts become literal weapons of war.
