Black Ops 2 Will Be The Next Call Of Duty Game

On May 1st, the next Call of Duty was to be formerly announced during the NBA Playoffs. The cat was let out of the bag, however, this past weekend when some Target employees found pre-order cards for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. My guess is the pre-order cards were to go out on May 2nd, the night after the announcement.

This confirms months of rumors and leaks. Several retailers had listings for Black Ops 2 before they were pulled, and several other images have surfaced up online showing the game and its release date. At this point, the announcement during the NBA Playoffs is merely a formality, where the only thing new we’ll see will likely be some sort of trailer for the game.

Not much is exactly known about what will be in the game. We do know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released on November, 13th 2012, and it will be headed to at least the PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC release will also likely be out, but it has not been confirmed yet at this time.
