Blizzard Starts 7th StarCraft II League Season

For those people who have only recently started to do well in StarCraft II, now you’ll have your chance to be at an equal footing with the big league players! The next season of the StarCraft II League, season 7, has officially begun!

Luckily for you, Blizzard is using its hidden skill ratings from matchmaking and league placement from last season and carrying them over into season 7. This way, if you completed your placement matches in a previous season you’ll only need to play 1 new placement match to start this season.

StarCraft and its sequel has always enjoyed a huge eSport following in the community, so it’s always exciting to see where people end up in the ladder rankings as they are reset and everyone has to start from scratch. For those of you who love to play Starcraft II, good luck, and have fun!
