Halo 4 Release Date Confirmed

Master Chief will return soon, as Microsoft and 343 Industries announced yesterday that Halo 4 will launch worldwide on November 6th, 2012. This marks the first proper Halo sequel since Halo 3, which was released back in 2007.

Microsoft studios corporate VP Phil Spencer revealed that Microsoft is not afraid to ride on the Halo gravy train, saying “We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4’ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experiences. Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, with ‘Halo 4’ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.” It seems to me that he’s pretty confident that Halo 4 is really going to set some records.

Conan O’Brien hosted a special segment celebrating the launch of Halo 4, though that the time of this writing I did not have a chance to see it. However, you should be able to find the clip on teamcoco.com.
