Has A Poster Confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2?

We all know that yet another Call of Duty title will be arriving at some point this year, though we don’t really know what title that will be. Could we see another Modern Warfare, or will it be a completely different title? Well, as more and more of the days pass it looks like this year’s CoD game will turn out to be a sequel to 2010’s Black Ops, as some new evidence has shown.

A poster that showed up over at Kotaku hints towards a release of Black Ops 2, and it’s pretty cut and dry. As you can see from the image above, it lists May 2nd as the “Return For Debriefing” date, which we assume is some sort of an announcement date. If you played Black Ops when it released, the narrative of the game was a debriefing in which vital evidence of a huge conspiracy was laid out before you.

This is, of course, speculation at this point and we’ll wait to see what transpires. If this is indeed an announcement for a new CoD reveal, then I’m anxious to see what Activision has in store for us. I enjoyed Black Ops, and if the new game is a sequel then the I’m looking forward to playing the multiplayer. Modern Warfare 3 was, I felt, missing elements that I got used to in Black Ops. Keep on the lookout for more details, especially with May just around the corner.
