Blockbuster UK Leaks Wii U Launch Lineup [Rumor]
There is still a lot of information that we don’t have regarding Nintendo’s upcoming console. Heck, we don’t even know if they’ll end up calling it the Wii U when it hits stores. One of the biggest unknowns that will ultimately determine the device’s initial sales is the lineup of games at launch. Thanks to Blockbuster UK, of all places, we might have just gotten a peek at those games.
An employee of the company (yes, it still exists) apparently snapped three pics which contain 25 Wii U titles. These include New Super Mario Brothers Mii, Darksiders II, Arkham City, and a couple of Rabbids titles.
These games are all listed for pre-order, which would mean that they were either available at launch, or shortly after. What’s more, it points to a release date that’s not too terribly far off. We’ll have to wait for E3 to find out any solid information from Nintendo, though.
