Diablo III Error 12 – Blizzard Needs Your Input

We’ve already seen a variety of errors tonight, the biggest still being Error 37. We also told you how to fix a few that appear to be related to connectivity issues on the user side. However, Error 12 might just be the most puzzling of all.

Blizzard has already address this error that seems to be affecting a large number of users. However, they appear to be stumped. The error is supposed to appear only when you’re playing the game from a region other than the one you purchased the game in. However, it seems to be happening to players who aren’t trying to do this. The company has posted a sticky thread on their forums asking players to comment if they are having this issue.

What they currently need is information on what region you’re playing in, and whether or not you’re trying to play in a location other than the one specified as your home region. If you are trying to play in a different region, then be aware that you cannot do this just yet, as Blizzard has not activated Global Play.
