Don’t Expect To See Half Life 3 At E3

There is some sad news if you’re a Half Life fan looking who’s looking forward to Half Life 3. Valve confirmed with IGN yesterday that they will not be announcing any new projects at E3 this year. Disappointing, yes, but not unexpected.

The announcement comes after Gabe Newell responded to an email posted by ValveTime forum user tabernumse. While Valve won’t be announcing any new projects, they will be showing off stuff that’s already been announced, such as CS:GO and Dota 2. Both games are currently in closed beta at this time.

It’s always a bit disappointing when a company decides to keep tight lipped on such a majorly hyped game like Half Life 3. In the end, though, there’s not a whole lot we can do. Instead, all we can do is sit and wait, and listen about the other projects that Valve is working on. Be sure to stay tuned to GamerFront, as we’ll be at E3 bringing you the latest on CS:GO, Dota 2, and any other games that Valve wants to talk about!
