Famous Voice Actors Return For Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

One of the best things about the Transformers series is its voice acting. Whenever I head Optimus Prime speak to his team or issue commands I’m filled with a sense of loyalty and duty. I’m a big fan of the Autobots and Transformers in general, so when I heard about Transformers: Fall of Cybertron I was excited. Not only did I like War for Cybertron (the first title, Fall of Cybertron is a sequel), but to see the series continue is just awesome.

I’ve checked out the game footage, researched the characters, and even checked into some gameplay with the game, and I am really impressed so far. I didn’t think the game could get any better, but Hasbro is ensuring the game’s awesome rating continues to climb. The company has just announced that original voice actors from the Transformers TV series will be on board for Fall of Cybertron.

Fan favorites such as Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) as well as Greg Berger (Grimlock) will be lending their voices to the game. Nolan North will also be on the team, voicing Bruticus, Cliffjumper, and Brawl. Voices from some other famous actors will include Troy Baker (Booker DeWitt from Bioshock Infinite), Fred Tatasciore (Bane in Arkham City, Saren in Mass Effect), Steve Blum (Jack Cayman in MadWorld, Grayson Hunt in Bulletstorm), and Issac Singleton (Sagat in Street Fighter X Tekken).

Having these great voice actors will no doubt make the game that much easier to get into. Hasbro’s Mark Blecher commented on the talent they’re adding to the game, saying, “There is no mistaking the voices of Optimus Prime and Grimlock, and we are so happy fans will get to experience a game featuring the distinctive voices of many of the most iconic and popular Transformers characters.”
