Humble Indie Bundle V Adds Three New Titles To Its Offerings

Every so often a couple of charities, along with some indie game developers, come together to offer their games in a bundle for a super –low cost. These offerings are called The Humble Indie Bundle, and the fifth of these bundles are available right now.  The way these work is simple: you go to the Indie Bundle site, see what games they’re offering, pay whatever you want, and get the games! Simple, right?

Not only is this a sweet deal, but The Humble Indie Bundle V has made things even better. The games in the bundle were Limbo, Bastion, Amnesia: Dark Descent, Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP, and Psychonauts. Since E3 has started, the bundle has been added to, picking up Super Meat Boy, Lone Survivor, and Braid. Those are three awesome games that you’ll pick up additionally by paying at least the average price that’s being sent across the board.

The Humble Indy Bundle has raised over $3.7 million worldwide, and Markus “Notch” Persson has ponied up $9999.99 himself.  When you pay for the bundle you can choose how you want your money divided up between the game developers, the Child’s Play and Electronic Frontier Foundation charities, and the Humble service itself. Right now the average dollar amount being paid is around $8.9, and with games like these that’s an amazing steal. Go ahead and pick up the bundle for yourself and do some good for the community.
