I love racing games. More specifically, I love the Need for Speed series. One of my favorite games of all is Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, and only in the last couple of years was that perfect racing game surpassed by its reboot, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The games are like a drug to me, and NFS: Most Wanted is going to help fuel that addiction, especially with the pre-order and limited edition bonuses that EA just announced!
If you pre-order the limited edition, you’ll get early access to the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale and the Porche 911 Carrera S in multiplayer, as well has double “Speed Points” (EXP) in the first four hours of multiplayer. While those bonuses are exclusive to the limited editions, these other pre-order packs will be available for all pre-orders. The only problem with these packs is that you have to choose one of three.
Depending on where you pre-order your copy of the game, you can get the Speed Pack, the Strike Pack, or the Power Pack. The Speed Pack comes with the Caterham Superlight R500 in exclusive Satin Black livery, and includes the track tyres mod for improved road handling, and also the lightweigh Chassis mod for top speeds. The Strike Pack is mean for people who want to survive what their opponent throws at them, featuring the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series in the Satin Black livery and also including the power pack powertrain mod along with the re-inflating tire mod. The Power pack features the Ford F-150 SVT Rapto in the Satin Black livery and is meant to take as much damage as possible by including a reinforced chassis mod and a powerful and violent nitrous dump mod for “making tight jumps and powered up takedowns”. It sounds like to me that each pack will definitely be useful, and I think the hardest part will be figuring out which one to get!
