Halo 2 Anniversary In The Works? [Rumor]
When the original Xbox smash-hit Halo was re-released in the Halo Anniversary edition in late 2011, it did pretty well for itself. In all, it sold about 1.5 million copies, so it’s not a stretch to think that somebody at 343 Industries thought to make an Anniversary edition of Halo 2. After all, it was a really popular game in its time as well, so why not remake it and make more money off of it?
Well, it looks like that’s exactly what’s happening, at least according to a leaked Official Xbox Magazine page. “Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary.” Pretty simple stuff, eh?
At this time there’s no other information out there. My guess is that this rumor will remain that way, just a rumor for awhile until 343 Industries has some good screenshots to show off. Until that time, all you Halo fans better just sit tight!
