Resident Evil 6 Could Host A Fourth Ada Wong Campaign

The Resident Evil 6 demo is live now on Xbox 360 if you’ve a copy of Dragon’s Dogma, and players have been diligently working to explore its mysteries. Some players have dug deep into the demo’s files and uncovered some information that suggests a new Ada Wong campaign could show up in the full game. Members of NeoGAF and GameFAQs came together and fished out the details.

From what’s been uncovered by the files, Ada receives her trusty grappling hook once again. Also, she’s got a co-op partner, but they’re only listed as “HELPER” in the files. Some other information points back to Crimson Heads, and some vehicular sections that involve a harrier, jeep, and snowmobile.

We were introduced to Ada Wong in Resident Evil 2. She’s effectively a spy trying to get her hands on whatever virus she can, and she plays things really close to the chest. You could play as Ada in Resident Evil 2, though only to continue the story when she and Leon got separated. In Resident Evil 4 Ada received her own special campaign through which she searched for plaga samples to send back to HQ.

If Resident Evil 6 introduces another of Ada Wong’s campaigns, then we’ll have a total of four different campaigns to choose from. While this seems pretty neat, it could make the game feel to segmented. Each campaign will have a different play style, and I am wondering if they will pull the game apart. I like the idea, don’t get me wrong, but I just hope that the game doesn’t become too unfocused.
