(Almost) All Sackboy Costumes Will Be Cross-Compatible With Upcoming LBP Titles
Have you ever bought a game, then purchased a bunch of DLC, only to find out that it doesn’t carry over into the next game in the series? This is especially frustrating when the things you bought are simple cosmetic accessories. Well, that’s not going to be the case with LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting.
Sony recently announced at GamesCom that they will allow you to use any of your costumes from LBP (1 or 2) in both of the upcoming titles. Also, if you buy a costume in one game, you’ll automatically get it in the others.
There are a couple of small things to note. First, not all of the costumes are going to be available in the new games right away. They’ve released a ton of them, so importing them is going to take time. Also, for reasons undisclosed, you won’t be able to use the Assassin’s Creed costumes or the April Fools Fragrance Costume in LittleBigPlanet Karting.
