Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC Has A Release Date

I love the entire Mass Effect series. I’ve followed Shepard from his humble beginnings as brand new SPECTRE thwarting Saren’s plans, all the way up to the point where he saves the galaxy. My only regret is that at some point the story has to end, and that the only thing remaining is multiplayer content.

Now, multiplayer is cool and all, but what I really love about the series is the story. That’s why I was so excited for the DLC that gave us the extended ending, not because I hated the ending, but rather because it meant I got to play the game some more and learn more about the galaxy of Mass Effect. That’s why I’m so excited for the new bit of singleplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3 that’s set to come out soon, titled Leviathan.

Well “soon” finally has a real date: August 28th. That’s the date where you can discover more about the “Leviathan of Dis”, which rumor has it is supposed to be an excommunicated Reaper. You’ll be tasked with the job of making contact with the Leviathan of Dis, and judging from some of the screenshots, it looks like you’ll be diving deep under water, a location that we’ve yet to explore yet through the three games. No price has been set yet for the DLC.
